Mind maps

Audience: end users visually linking concepts.

What it does​

Mind maps let you build node-and-edge diagrams for brainstorming and recall. They integrate with navigation and (where enabled) AI tools that understand map structure.

Basics​

  • Open the mind map module from the sidebar (exact label is localized).
  • Pan/zoom with pointer or touch conventions matching the canvas implementation.
  • Keyboard shortcuts exist for selection, edit-in-place, undo/redo—see in-app keybind settings if exposed.

Tips​

  • Keep labels short; put nuance in linked notes if your workflow supports linking.
  • If the canvas feels sluggish, close heavy side panels and reduce open AI streams—see Troubleshooting.
